Data Scientist | Sterling Bank Plc., Nigeria

  • Unified credit risk assessment models across the bank, from ideation to deployment, streamlining credit decision-making for all products.

  • Led the technical implementation of a centralized AI hub for domain-specific chatbots, boosting operational efficiency, and developed an in-house image verification model to cut onboarding costs.

  • Manage MLOps processes within the data unit.

  • Collaborated in the development of CreditNET, a Machine Learning (ML)-as-a-service (MLaaS) cloud platform which predicts the likelihood of a predefined set of credit events in real-time. This pipeline encompasses data cleaning, feature engineering, model building, evaluation, and interpretability using SHAP.

  • Developed a comprehensive and secured API documentation using Flask and Swagger.
